This is a great video showing an overview of types of hole (see up to 1min 15secs) and then three repair methods :
> Filler only for small holes
> "California" patch technique
> Wooden battens technique
I highly recommend the "California" patch - I can custom cut these to size for you as well - rectangular, square and round holes.
